Jackson Stephen advised the BIMBO team, led by John Batchelor, in their acquisition of Solvitol Ltd for £3.25m from Torday and Carlisle Plc.  The transaction was funded by an invoice discounting facility from City Invoice Finance and an equity injection from the BIMBO team themselves.

Durham-based Solvitol Ltd manufacturers liquid and aerosol products for the automotive, catering, industrial and janitorial sectors under both "private label" and "branded" ranges.
