This first event for the newly launched “Leigh Business Club” is being held on Thursday 21st September 2006 at the Sporting Lodge Inn, (Greyhound Hotel) in Leigh.

| Budget 2006 - A Practical Guide To Tax Today |

Gordon Brown will make what could be his last Budget speech on Wednesday 22nd March at 12.30pm.
Given the precedents set in previous Budgets, it is expected there will be a further raft of "anti avoidance" measures. However, the Chancellor is widely tipped to soon be on the move to Number 10 Downing Street, and therefore may take the opportunity to introduce a few "tax sweeteners", in an attempt to gain public support.
